PEEL DISTRICT OFFICE (WA) – PINJARRA YOUTH EVENT

An event for local young people including a speaker about resilience and self care, followed by a sausage sizzle and various activities. Young people will have an opportunity to meet, and ask questions, with local youth services.

ALBANY DISTRICT OFFICE (WA) – COLOURING-IN COMPETITION

Department of Communities - Child Protection and Family Support Albany, Australia

A colouring-in competition will be held throughout local kindergartens and pre-primary classes using NAPCAN resources. The finished artwork will be displayed in shop windows in the main street of Albany. Colour-in resources will be distributed in the week commencing 14 August - prizes will be announced on 8 September.

CANNINGTON DISTRICT OFFICE (WA) – CREATION OF MURAL

A local artist will be engaged to deliver a workshop with local children and young people in care to create a mural which will be exhibited in the foyer of the District Office. A morning tea will be held to unveil the artwork.
