Every conversation matters—but words alone are not enough.
This year’s National Child Protection Week theme, ‘Every conversation matters: Shifting Conversation to Action,’ reminds us that while dialogue is essential when it comes to raising awareness, challenging harmful norms, and sparking new ideas, real change is only possible when we turn those conversations into meaningful action.
NAPCAN is committed to moving beyond talk, focusing on concrete steps that prevent harm to children. Through strengthening prevention and advocacy initiatives, we’re empowering communities to actively protect every child, ensuring they not only feel heard but truly experience safety, care, and protection.
Thank you to the hundreds of organisations who have sent in their logos and words about how they’ll be supporting National Child Protection Week.
Use our yellow community tiles to discuss the importance of community. Find your community from the list, or contact us.
If you have an activity or project that helps to support children, National Child Protection Week is a great opportunity to promote your work. Use our draft media content to get you started. Or contact NAPCAN for quotes, comments or interviews.
