‘Get involved’ – Ideas for sports and recreation groups

In addition to the promotional suggestions on our Get Involved page, you may like to:
- Use the week as an opportunity to have conversations with staff and volunteers about the importance of keeping children safe and prioritising their needs. - Organise a display in a common area using our posters or some of the Children’s Activity artwork on our Get Involved page.
- Organise an event to e.g. morning tea, BBQ for families, information evening, or family fun day during the week (don’t forget to register your event on our website). When you bring families together you help to build the social connections that children and parents need.
