Activity sheet to create ‘meaningful moments’

How gorgeous is this National Child Protection Week colouring and activity sheet based on artwork from Luke Duffy, Kalkadoon Digital Artist, Queensland!?

The artwork depicts this year’s theme: Putting Children First. It shows Elders, family, services and community supporting kids each step of the way, showing leadership and guidance so that the path is never broken and remains strong and healthy.

On the back of the sheet, you’ll find creative ideas for engaging children in the activity to create the ‘meaningful moments’ that help to build young brains.

For more ideas about how to create meaningful moments download the free Bright Tomorrows Parenting App. Developed by CoLab – a partnership between the Telethon Kids Institute and Minderoo Foundation – the app is based on the neuroscience of early childhood development and learning. Bright Tomorrows delivers over 1000 brain-building moments for children aged 0-5, and is wrapped in support for parents.

You can find the activity sheet by scrolling to the Children’s Activities on the Get Involved page.

Or download the pdf here.
