National Child Protection Week

Thanks everyone for getting involved with National Child Protection Week 2020.

While the events and activities are all done and dusted, many of the resources may still be of value to you, recordings are available for many of the online events, and you can still sign up for our newsletter, or add your logo to the campaign.

So we’ll be leaving this page here until we start updating for National Child Protection Week 2021 (5-11 September)…

Watch webinar recordings

The official Putting Children First webinar series for National Child Protection Week (6-12 September 2020) featured more than 30 inspiring speakers (local, national and international) across 5 days. Recordings of all webinars are now available.

Activities For Children

List your activities on our calendar

Due to Covid-19, physical events may not be such a large part of our campaign this year. However, we will still be encouraging people to organise activities to support National Child Protection Week.

Resources to support events and activities

NAPCAN has plenty of free resources to support your activities including: brochures for parents and carers, tips for how to play your part, videos and posters.

You can get involved with National Child Protection Week by helping us spread the word

Publish an article in your newsletter

To make it as easy as possible, we’ve drafted an article that you can use as it is… or get inspired and spice it up with your own ideas and experiences.

Get some media attention!

If you have an activity or project that helps to support children, National Child Protection Week is a great opportunity to promote your work. Use our draft media content to get you started. Or contact NAPCAN for quotes, comments or interviews.
