Join us as we, Edmund Rice Community Services collaborate with Edmund Rice International (ERI) to bring you a webinar that explores the Convention on the Rights of the Child and aims to help us better understand how we can use it as a tool to inform a culture of safety.
We will be hearing from three experts from Edmund Rice International (ERI). ERI is a non-governmental organisation, who are committed to advocacy on behalf of children and young people marginalised because of poverty, legal status, environmental degradation or armed conflict. They work at an international level to promote and protect the rights of children and young people, particularly in regard to education. Other areas of focus are the protection of the rights of First Nations people, and those identifying as migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers and the promotion of ecological justice. They work in partnership with other faith-based groups in the promotion of peace and justice.
