NAPCAN TRAINING

This training will provide support for facilitators to be able to deliver the Love Bites Senior Program, a primary prevention education program that focuses on the development of respectful relationships and violence prevention for 15-17-year-old’s (or Years 10-12). The training role models a trauma aware and healing informed delivery model of the program.

The Love Bites Program has had an update in mid-March 2022. We are now offering a refresher for facilitators who would like to receive the updated manual and resources (provided electronically).

A 2-hour update delivered over zoom to gain an overview of the changes and new activities in the new 2022 release of the Love Bites Senior (Year 10-12) program. There will be an opportunity at the end to ask questions regarding the new activities or themes covered in this session.

This workshop covers essential knowledge for anyone who has anything to do with children and young people either indirectly or directly.

Safer Communities for Children is a kit that offers an inclusive, culturally safe, whole-of-community protective behaviours and respectful relationships approach, designed for young children aged around four (4) to eight (8) years.
