NT Acts of Kindness Challenge - For kids and adults

Being kind is good for our health, good for those around us, and especially good for children.

And best of all, it’s contagious!

So let’s join together to spread a kindness epidemic across the NT.

During National Child Protection Week 2020, NAPCAN launched the NT Acts of Kindness Challenge to highlight the power of kindness as a tool for creating safe and nurturing environments for children.

So from now until 30 October, during Children’s Week, let’s see how many acts of kindness we can record throughout the NT.

How to get involved?

To get involved, all you need to do is record any acts of kindness in the NT that you know about – no matter how big or how small.

It might be something that you do for someone, that someone does for you, or simply something that you hear about.

Scroll to the bottom of this page for some kindness ideas that have already been sent in from across the NT.

Use the NT Acts of Kindness Challenge activity sheet

Use the Activity Sheet to support children and young people to contribute their acts of kindness to the challenge.

Or you can write about your act of kindness here…

  • Max. file size: 10 MB.
  • I understand that by submitting my act of kindness, I give permission for NAPCAN to use the information I have provided on their website, social media and Children’s Week displays.

It's a Wrap Up! Webinar

WEBINAR

Date: 30th Oct

Time: 12pm – 1pm (ACST)

Being kind is good for our health, good for those around us, and especially good for our children. And best of all, it’s contagious!

During National Child Protection Week 2020, NAPCAN launched the NT Acts of Kindness Challenge to highlight the power of kindness as a tool for creating safe and nurturing environments for children and young people.

Now as part of Children’s Week, we’re excited to host a webinar sharing some of the wonderful acts of kindness recorded in corridors, clubs, classes, committees and communities throughout the NT.

Link into the webinar to hear real-life Territory tales of kindness by those who have shared them, experienced them and spread kindness onto others.

The webinar recording is available to view on our video resources page. You will smile inside and out 🙂
