Minister for Children and Families John Elferink says National Child Protection Week is a good time to reflect on everyone’s role in child protection.
“National Child Protection Week reminds us that caring for and protecting children is a responsibility we all share,” Minister Elferink said.
NAPCAN stands with White Ribbon to end violence against women and their children. With more than one million Australian children affected by domestic violence, a recognised form of child abuse, it is vital we all play our part to prevent it.
NAPCAN congratulates Ellen Poyner, who has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship to conduct further research and investigation into family violence and sexual assault prevention programs and evaluations.
