The Mental Health and Wellbeing of Young People 2019 seminar – one of six events happening across Australia – from charity Generation Next, aims to boost the mental wellbeing of children and teenagers – by bringing together Australia’s leading experts in the field to inform parents, professionals and those who support Australia’s young people, so they can then take away new knowledge, skills and tools to better look after the wellbeing of those in their care.
On the day, high level experts in youth mental health will tackle the latest clinical and social issues with stimulating, up to date and practically focused presentations on topics to better protect and enhance the wellbeing of children and young people. Some topics that will be covered are grief and family separation; attention and digital distractions; nurturing resilience in young people with disability; anxiety support strategies; and the impact of the internet on wellbeing.
