On the 3rd of September, SAP will host a “Talanoa & Paint” evening with our carers and children in care. We will have a pre-outlined artpiece depicting the ocean and celebrating our cultural connection as Pasifika & Maori people to one another and to the Ocean – the Ocean feeds and sustains us, water represents peace & tranquility and Gods depth of love over our families and our spiritual connection to all things including people, land & sea.
SAP will work alongside our families to build a piece that brings together our Carers, young people through our work with our KOKO Team who work with our 10 – 18yr olds and our precious children in care ranging from the ages of one to fourteen, each group will work on separate panels and once brought together will celebrate the beauty of working in Unity embedding culture and belonging.
