Mid North Coast – Online Child Protection Week Forum

The theme for Child Protection Week 2021 is ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go. To treat all of Australia’s children fairly, we need to make sure every family and community has what kids need to thrive and be healthy.’
In light of this theme, Blue Sky Community Services, in collaboration with the Child and Family Interagencies across the Mid North Coast district, will be delivering a 1-day forum for service staff across the region. During the forum, guest speakers who work for a wide scope of organisations and service a diverse range of communities within the region will share helpful information and insights as to how they work safely and effectively within a Child Protection framework.
The event kicks off Child Protection Week on Monday 6th September 2021 and is a professional development activity for staff on the Mid North Coast who work with children, young people and families.
The forum will be delivered via an online live streaming platform to ensure accessibility to the region and viability of the event moving forward due to ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19.
