Child Protection Week Art Activity 2023 – Launched

As part of Child Protection Week (3 – 9 September), we’re looking for artworks to show what children and young people think about their relationships with family, friends and community.

These will then be used in our campaign (leading up to September) to help show that protecting children is about all of us working together.

We’re asking parents, carers and educators to support children to create artworks based on conversations around…

  • What are the things that help you feel like you belong in your neighbourhood?
  • What are the things that make you feel close to your friends?
  • Who is special to you in your life?
  • How do you feel when you walk around the streets where you live?
  • What do you like best about your neighbourhood?
  • What helps you feel better when things don’t work out the way you’d like them to?
