This movie is a part 3, from the inaugural movie screening in 2023 called “Growing up Tough” – and part 2 screened in 2024 called “Where the wild flowers grow” these movies can be found on youtube although it’s not necessary to have to watch that previous movies prior to attending this years screening.
Breakfast event and bookings are essential…..
The young people involved in this event and in the making of this film have had their lives changed through the child protection system. Many of them haven’t felt like they have been able to tell their stories or thought that they were insignificant. Some sadly even expressed they were worried if they told too much that it would ultimately impact on them negatively. Their stories matter.
