  • Love Bites Facilitator Training (including Love Bites Junior)

    Love Bites is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for 15-17 year olds. It consists of two interactive workshops: one on Relationship Violence, and one on Sex and Relationships, followed by creative workshops and community campaigns. The program now includes Love Bites Junior, a set of age-appropriate lesson plans to introduce Respectful Relationships concepts to young people aged 11-14.

  • Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect (including Mandatory Reporting) - 3 hours

    Essential knowledge for anyone working with families and children. Learn more about how to:
    • - Prevent abuse
    • - Identify and respond to indicators of abuse and risk factors
    • - Support families and help children thrive
    • - Meet your legislative mandatory reporting requirements
    For all organisations, especially those working directly with children such as child care, education, health, clubs, churches.

  • Creating Child Safe Organisations - 4 hours

    Essential information for all organisations who work with or have contact with children and young people. Learn more about how to:
    • - Make sure you are meeting all your state and federal requirements to implement child safe organisational practice
    • - Prevent abuse from occurring in your organisation
    • - Create a culture that supports and engages children and families
    • - Develop the right policies, procedures and practices to keep children safe e.g. Codes of Conduct, recruitment and complaints.
    For all organisations, especially those working directly with children such as child care, education, clubs, health and churches.

    • All NAPCAN’S training and workshops are designed to cover a lot of information efficiently as possible and cannot be shortened. We can extend workshops if you have extra topics that you would like to cover.
    • Love Bites training includes catering, however, other workshops do not..
    • Due to the content of the workshops, they are not suitable for children to attend
    • Some workshops (NOT Love Bites) can be delivered online via Zoom. NAPCAN will discuss this option with you when booking.
