In April this year, a landmark Australian study was published, the Australian Child Maltreatment Study (ACMS). The study aimed to identify, for the first time, the extent of child abuse in the Australian population. The results were sobering, with the findings underscoring the moral and economic imperative for Australia to develop and deliver a coordinated long-term plan for generational reform. Professor Daryl Higgins, Director of the ACU Institute of Child Protection Studies and ACMS research team member and Rani Kumar, Deputy CEO of NAPCAN are joining us for a webinar on 27 September to discuss the findings and preventative actions that can be taken.
