Third Sector’s 2nd National Youth Justice Forum emerges as a pivotal platform to address this crisis, evaluating the root causes of youth crime and crafting community-led diversion and early-intervention strategies. With Indigenous and youth perspectives at its core, the Forum aims to co-create systemic change, addressing intergenerational trauma and enhancing holistic prevention services while combating recidivism through social reinvestment initiatives. The event fosters cross-sector dialogue and empowers grassroots and Indigenous organisations through capacity-building endeavours. Ultimately, the National Youth Justice Forum’s mission is to safeguard young people’s futures by diverting them from the justice system and breaking the cycle of reoffending.
