This month, we’re proud to introduce a team of sector leaders taking action together for Run Against Violence; walking and running side by side towards the shared goal of prevention.
Prevention is not something to be done in isolation. Leaders across Queensland have committed to show up together to model exactly what prevention looks like
Collective action, shared vision, and an unwavering commitment to support children, young people and their families.
The 1300km, 19 day challenge begins August 30. Join us in cheering on the ‘QLD Together for Prevention’ team members, and follow our journey on the RAV socials.
Over the past six years, RAV participants have helped invest more than $565,000 into training Love Bites facilitators across Australia. Every step this team takes brings us closer to funding Love Bites training for 2027. This year has seen the launch of a new funding initiative “Chase it Forward” that can help support even more prevention efforts. It is not too late to get your team together. Check out the details below.
There’s still time to bring your own team together for the 2026 Run Against Violence Team Chase.
Invite your workplace, organisation, community or friends to join you and take part in the 1,300km challenge.
Every team helps keep conversations about domestic and family violence visible, while raising funds to support prevention initiatives across Australia through Chase it Forward.
Whether you walk, run or do a bit of both, every kilometre contributes to the collective effort.
