DESCRIPTION:During National Child Protection Week\, the eSafety Commission is offering live Virtual Classroom webinars to support students as they learn about online consent or permission\, and how to define online boundaries.\nOpen sessions available to all State\, Catholic and Independent schools (AEST): \n\nThursday 2 September 2021 at 9.30 to 10.15 am\nMonday 6 September 2021 at 2.00 to 2.45 pm\nTuesday 7 September 2021 at 9.30 to 10.15 am\nThursday 9 September 2021 at 9.30 to 10.15 am\nThursday 16 September 2021 at 9.30 to 10.15 am\n\nVic Dept of Education and Training (AEST): \n\nWednesday 8 September 2021 at 9.30 to 10.15 am\n\nACT Education Directorate (AEST): \n\nFriday 10 September 2021 9.30 to 10.15am\n\nWA Dept of Education (AWST): \n\nFriday 10 September 2021 9.30 to 10.15am\n\nNSW Dept of Education (AEST): \n\nMonday 6 September 2021 at 10.00 to 10.45 am\nWednesday 8 September 2021 at 12.00 to 12.45 pm\n\nBy the end of the learning students will be able to:\n\n\n\nidentify consent and permission in a variety of online settings\ndefine and practise setting personal online safety boundaries\ndevelop help seeking and reporting strategies.\n\nThe whole class participates in a live video lesson with a trainer. The trainer talks through PowerPoint slides and students complete a worksheet during the presentation. Individual student registration will not be accepted\, as connections to the online platform are limited.
