DESCRIPTION:To mark Child Protection Week\, the ACT Ombudsman will host an event on 6 September 2017 at 3:30pm including the following presentations:\n• the ACT Reportable Conduct Scheme by the ACT Ombudsman\n• child protection initiatives of the ACT Children & Young People Commissioner/Public Advocate\, Ms Jodie Griffiths-Cook\n• children’s safety in institutions by the Australian Catholic University Institute of Child Protection Studies\, Director\, Professor Daryl Higgins\n• giving a voice to those in residential care by the ACT Create Foundation.\nThe ACT Play Your Part Awards will also be presented as part of this event.
