Art Competition Submission 2023 – Little from Peakhurst

Our service cares for children aged 0-2 years old, so we focused on sharing information with our families about the Napcan organisation. During National Child Protection Week we shared resources and held discussions based around the community jigsaw and the roles we share to support children having a fair go.
Our Little Ducklings class cannot yet write but we decided to showcase the community message by creating hand-prints with each child and inviting the children to draw and decorate their handprints. Together our hand-prints create our ‘Community Jigsaw’
