Art Competition Submission 2022 – Keiki from Burns Beach

Children at our OSHC service were invited to illustrate places within the community that make them feel safe. We shared open and meaningful discussions surrounding the word “safe” and what this means to us as individuals, even comparing the difference between safety for children and safety for adults.
They all submitted beautiful drawings which are now displayed in the room, most children included places like school, Keiki, the beach, the shops and the park etc.
