Child Friendly Australia

Volunteers
NAPCAN is indebted to the many volunteers who have helped us over the years. You can read about some of our current volunteers below:

Erin Ewald
Erin has been a volunteer with NAPCAN since February 2005. Recently moving to Australia from the United States she generously gives of her time regularly volunteering 2-3 days per week. Erin assisted in a variety of tasks including:

  • relocating the national office;
  • compiling an archive of NAPCAN newsletters from the past decade;
  • organisation of NAPCAN NSW's recent community forum;
  • general office administrative duties and;
  • organisation and promotion of National Child Protection Week.

Erin is now a member of the NAPCAN NSW Council.

In her own words: "I originally started to build up my skills and gain work experience within the not for profit sector, but as I worked here day in and day out, I gained a greater insight into the how we as a community can work together to prevent child abuse and neglect and how valuable and significant my contribution was. I think that if everyone could do their small part the differerence made would be truly astounding."

Could you take the challenge to get involved and help NAPCAN in its daily work? MORE
