NAPCAN has run hundreds of workshops and educated more than 15,000 sector professionals about ways to incorporate child abuse prevention initiatives into their work. Current workshops include the Mandatory Reporting workshops conducted by NAPCAN Victoria, and the Positive Parenting workshops in the NT.
In 2007 NAPCAN sponsored and organised a series of 2-day workshops for community service professionals to provide a comprehensive staff development seminar and workshop aimed at better understanding Child Sexual Abuse, the impacts of Child Sexual Abuse and developing strategies to effectively reduce Child Sexual Abuse in our communities. The workshop and seminar focus on a wide range of useful material and presents views and ideas that include the issue of Child Sexual Abuse from an Indigenous Perspective.

In 2004 NAPCAN hosted the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) 15th Congress on child abuse and neglect. The Congress provided participants with the unique opportunity of learning from each other and taking another step forward in "Working Together for a Child Safe World" MORE
