All of us - including parents and carers, professionals, neighbours, workmates, families and friends are needed to protect the children in our communities.
Take the challenge that the whole of community has responsibility for preventing child abuse and neglect. Understand the seriousness and consequences of child abuse. Recognise the warning signs of abuse. Trust your judgment when in doubt.
If you have serious concerns about a child, report it and keep reporting it until something is done. Remember that anything you do to support children and parents in your family and community helps to reduce the likelihood of child abuse. Find out more about Mandatory Reporting HERE
