Children are more precious than any jewel you could find in this world and ever since I was a young teen, I have spent my time working with them, for them and around them. I am a mother of 2 teenage daughters and the proud aunt of 1 toddler (see pic). I have published a free, educational, parents magazine for 10 years in Canberra, held many events for parents and young children and run a nursery store and children's party business. I was on the NAPCAN ACT committee for 6 years before becoming the ACT State Manager in 2006. Working for NAPCAN gives me the opportunity to utilise all of my skills and contacts to help link up other community organisations who care for and protect our children. I strongly believe in NAPCAN's vision for the children of Australia and am proud to be part of such a caring and child friendly organisation.

"It wasn't until I joined NAPCAN that I had my eyes opened to the seriousness of this social problem that many Australian children and youths face as a part of their every day life. It was on receiving this education through NAPCAN and by being part of this fantastic committed and inspirational team that I knew that we could make a difference".
"I believe that every child has the right to live free from harm, to be protected and loved"
