The first national survey of child employment by the Bureau of Statistics has found that 175,100 - or 7 per cent of children aged 5 - 14 -worked last financial year. Child Abuse: Stopping it Starts with Us - Marie Claire, May 2003
In 2003 Marie Claire undertook a national campaign to challenge all Australians to stop child abuse and ensure all kids grow up free from harm. The three month campaign led up to National Child Protection Week. MORE
