Child friendly Community Action Networks are made up of parents, child care and other sector workers, representatives of local businesses and local govt, professional organisations within the sector, and in fact anyone who is interested in the wellbeing of local children and young people.
With the launch of Child Friendly Australia, NAPCAN has initiated proactive support of local communities who wish to pool their resources in order to form local child friendly Community Action Networks.
NAPCAN is developing programs to inspire and support communities Australia to make there local area/region/ child friendly. Whilst residing under the umbrella of the Child Friendly Australia branding, each of these local networks are an integral part of the NAPCAN national network.

- Contact your local NAPCAN Office and find out the names of people and organisations who organised activities for National Child Protection Week MORE
- Organise a meeting of people who are interested in keeping the prevention of abuse and neglect of kids on the agenda all year round, and get the local media to promote it.
