National Board
NAPCAN is supported by a National Board of Directors.  It comprises a nominee from each state and territory member organisation and a small group of individuals who bring professional expertise in legal, finance, marketing & communications and management. The following individuals volunteer their time and expertise to help the NAPCAN Foundation.

Teresa brings 20 years experience of working as a Social Worker and with State and Federal governments

Linda is Editor of That's Life! magazine and brings marketing and communications expertise to the Board
Olya Booyar NSW Director
Born in Ukraine and educated in Canada and Germany , Olya graduated from the University of Manitoba at the age of 19 with an Honours Degree in Psychology. She migrated to Australia in 1987 and worked in the print media before joining SBS as a broadcaster and journalist. In 2002, as Station Manager at SBS Radio in Sydney , she became one of the youngest women ever to head up a major national radio station in Australia . She has worked in senior positions in Pay TV and the Australian Film Commission and has recently been appointed Deputy Director of the Classification Board from the role of Community Relations Executive at SBS Television. Married with two teenage children, Olya speaks several languages and lists her hobbies as reading and watching movies.

Catherine Campbell   WA Director.
Catherine is NAPCAN WA's National Board Representative. She is currently a Masters of Applied Psychology (Clinical) and PhD candidate for the School of Psychology at Murdoch University, Perth. Her area of study and interest is in Clinical Child Psychology and Development and is deeply committed to contributing efforts toward securing safe and thriving environments for all children. She has been a member of the NAPCAN WA for 2 years.

Pat Jewell - VIC Director  
Pat's background is in early childhood education and educating parents of children at risk of child abuse and neglect. Author of 'Getting Good Speech Going' 'Out of the Mainstream' and 'From Strength to Strength'. 
Dr Sue Packer AM  ACT Director
Sue is a Community Paediatrician in the ACT. She has extensive experience with child abuse assessment and prevention, and received her Order of Australia (in part) for services to child protection and the community .

Dr Adam Tomison
Adam is an expert in child abuse prevention and the operation of child protection and family support systems. Adam is best known for his work leading the National Child Protection Clearinghouse, based at the Australian Institute of Family Studies. He is currently Director of Community Services Policy in the NT Department of Health and Community Services.
