ISPCAN 15th International Congress on Child Abuse & Neglect
Working Together for a Child Safe World

The Congress was held 19-22 September, 2004 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, and co hosted by International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (National Partner of ISPCAN)

A "child safe world" is a world where children are free from all forms of abuse and exploitation by adults and other children and young people. It is also a world where children receive adequate care, resources and attention.

"Working together" recognises that abuse and neglect are complex problems that call for the mobilisation of many kinds of skills and resources. Professionals and communities need each other to forge effective responses, and both need to be able to see the world through the eyes of children and young people to share ideas and experiences from across the global community about protecting children in a way that welcomes children and young people as valued participants.

The program can be downloaded in two parts:Program A (2.6 meg) HERE and Program B (1.7 meg) HERE
