2008 Child Friendly Community Awards.
Nominations are now open for the 2008 Child Friendly Community Awards. Since 2004 the Victorian branch of NAPCAN has recognised communities who are contributing to building a child friendly Australia.

Please consider nominating a community you might be part of or one that you know of who you feel is deserving of a child friendly community award. The awards will be presented by the Child Safety Commissioner Bernie Geary during Children's Week. Download a nomination form HERE

If you are interested in preventing child abuse and neglect, work or have worked in child, youth, child protection, family or have other skills you would like to share the Victorian branch of NAPCAN would like to hear from you. You need to be able to make a two year commitment, attend 4 full council meetings per year and be prepared to participate on one sub committee. MORE
