Sue has published many books and articles about behaviour and relationships in school. The most recent are three teacher resource books for Whole Child, a primary school program for social and emotional learning.

"We need to move the focus away from blame, management and control to providing an environment where children experience positive relationships, models of caring and clear, consistent expectations and have opportunities to participate. There also needs a stronger focus in education on ' learning to be' and 'learning to live with others'. Only then will children internalise pro-social behaviour and begin to make positive choices for themselves and others. The people who live and work with children need to feel valued and supported to be able to create and sustain such child friendly communities"

Sue is a founding member of the network Wellbeing Australia : http://www.wellbeingaustralia.com.au She provides professional learning and consultancy on related issues, including Circle Time Training. Sue can be contacted at sue@sueroffey.com
