Each Partner contributed to and supported NCPW in a unique way, but the broad role of each Partner was to promote and encourage participation in NCPW throughout their organisation and network.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)
ACMA is responsible for the regulation of broadcasting, radiocommunications, telecommunications and online content. ACMA's roles in relation to online content include administering a scheme designed to address community concerns about offensive and illegal material on the internet and to protect children from exposure to material that is unsuitable for them.  Under the scheme, ACMA investigates complaints about Internet content, provides advice to parents and children about online safety issues, and works with industry in developing codes of practice that promote safe internet use. www.acma.gov.au

Australian Divisions of General Practice (ADGP)
ADGP was established in 1998 as a peak national body represents 119 divisions of general practice and their state-based organisations across Australia.  We are the largest representative voice for general practice in Australia with over 95 per cent of Australia’s GPs members of a local division of general practice.  The Network is a unique health infrastructure covering the length and breadth of the country.  It provides key stakeholders in health care delivery with a network of access to primary health care.  No other locally owned network can implement government policy with the consistency and coverage than the divisions of general practice. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW)
AIHW is Australia’s national agency for health and welfare statistics and information, established by an Act of Parliament to report to the nation on the state of its health and welfare. Thus, every two years the AIHW publishes Australia’s Health and Australia’s Welfare as comprehensive summaries of these two major areas that encompass health, health services, community services and housing assistance. ASCA - Advocates for Survivors of Child Abuse
ASCA (Advocates for Survivors of Child Abuse) is a national not for profit organisation of survivors supporting other survivors. - ASCA's door is open to anyone (over 18) who feels they have suffered abuse - physical, emotional, sexual or spiritual.

Through an Australia-wide support network - online, phone and face-to-face, monthly newsletter, 1300 information line (1300 657 380), and counselor-facilitated programs, workshops , awareness events and this website, ASCA helps to break down the sense of isolation and alienation many survivors feel, validates survivors' experiences and encourages trust. ASH Australia

Association for the Wellbeing of Children in Healthcare

Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA)
BACA exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. We exist as a body of Bikers to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live. We stand ready to lend support to our wounded friends by involving them with an established, united organization. We work in conjunction with local and state officials who are already in place to protect children. We desire to send a clear message to all involved with the abused child that this child is part of our organization, and that we are prepared to lend our physical and emotional support to them by affiliation, and our physical presence. The Benevolent Society

Bravehearts
Bravehearts aims to forge a 'movement for change' in how paedophilia is dealt with by the criminal justice sector, government and the community at large and to provide survivors with a voice. Byron Shire Council
Byron Shire Council is committed to making it's streets child friendly, and the Mayor, Cr Jan Barham officially launched the campaign at the beginning of NCPW at the Fatherhood Festival in Bangalow. Centrelink
Centrelink is an agency of the Department of Human Services delivering a range of Commonwealth services to the Australian community, so designed that people can get more of the help they need in one place. Centrelink delivers a range of government payments and services for retirees, families, carers, parents, people with disabilities, Indigenous Australians and people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Family Life
Family Life -a Melbourne community based not-for-profit agency - provides quality, responsive services to the community with priority to at-risk families, children and youth guided by a whole of family approach. The Fatherhood Project

The George Street Neighbourhood Centre
The George Street Neighbourhood Centre is a place of community development and education where community members and service providers can access a diverse range of support, information, referrals and services. An extensive range of support, services and facilities are delivered by and through the George Street Neighbourhood Centre. Whilst maintaining the key service deliveries of information, referral, support and community development, the centre auspices several support programs including the Good Beginnings Home Based Family Support Program (GBHBFSP), Multicultural Families Support Program and the Mackay Regional Financial Counselling Service. The Centre provides a "one-stop-shop" approach offering a hub of diverse services to meet the needs of families and individuals within the community and the region. Collocated services have internal referral processes and also link families and individuals with services or resources that already exist in the community. George Street Neighbourhood Centre has been involved with National Child Protection Week (NCPW) for many years, and more recently with the Child Friendly Community Action Group. Hawksbury District Health Service NSW (HDHS)
HDHS is an innovative approach to the health care needs of a growing community. Situated at Windsor in the Hawkesbury City Local Government Area (LGA), HDHS is approximately one hour's drive north west from Sydney and approximately thirty minutes drive from the Blue Mountains. Kidsafe NT
Kidsafe is a national organisation which speaks up for our children.  It aims to reduce the number of children being killed or maimed from injuries.  Kidsafe has branches in every state and territory, and is recognised as a leader in community based and professional activity related to child safety. Northern Territory children in both urban and rural areas are three times more likely to die or to be injured than children living elsewhere in Australia .  This frightening statistic is due in part to the Northern Territory 's unique climate and geography, as well as our lifestyle and culture.  The Northern Territory Division of Kidsafe began in 1983 and works to reduce the terrible toll of accidents on Territory children. Mensline Australia
Mensline is the national telephone counselling service for men, supports men who are dealing with family and relationship concerns. It is available 24/7 from anywhere in the country for the cost of a local call. Migrant Settlement Services (MSS) is a service of Centacare Cairns. The Salvation Army Northern Territory Region
The Salvation Army do a wide-ranging work in the NT.  The church is our main focus. Within that is our support of our men, women, youth and children.  Branching from our desire to help others through our Christian beliefs,  is our social and welfare work with families, welfare assistance, a transitional housing program, chaplaincy, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, temporary accommodation for homeless men, hostel accommodation,  support of the men and women in the Defence Forces, the Flying Padre supporting those in outback stations, we have a women's refuge, aboriginal program in Alice Springs, a Family Tracing Service reaching world wide, and Community Outreach in Katherine and Kununurra.
A major part of our policy is to make the church and our social centres, a safe place for our people, especially the youth and children.  It is therefore, a natural response on our part, to be in partnership with NAPCAN.  We are delighted to give our support and encouragement to their ongoing efforts.
